Here’s How A Personal Chef Service Works:
Initial Assessment.
Chef Matt Gordon will personally conduct an interview with you, designed to determine your tastes, preferences, and nutritional needs in order to provide you with the in-home dining experience perfect for you.At that time, you and Chef will also determine how frequently you require the service and what dates and times would fit best into your schedule.At the end of this assessment, a first cooking appointment will be set.
Menu Planning.
With the results of the initial assessment at his disposal, Chef Matt will draw up a list of proposed entrees and side dishes that you will enjoy.You will review the list and decide which selections you prefer.This may be done during the assessment, or you may take more time to consider your choices, as you prefer.
Cook Date.
On the morning of your cooking appointment, Chef Matt will shop for the freshest available ingredients and bring them directly to your home, along with all the cooking implements he will need to prepare your culinary delights.In the safety of your own kitchen, he will prepare the dishes that you chose earlier. He will then package, label, and store them in your refrigerator or freezer, leaving detailed heating instructions for each dish. You can then enjoy each delightful meal at your leisure, on your schedule.
After the Cook Date.
Chef will leave your kitchen spotlessly clean, with the only evidence of his presence being a freezer full of fresh, scrumptious food and the lingering smells of good cooking.The heating instructions will be left on your refrigerator door, along with a suggested list of entrees and side dishes for your next cooking appointment for you to review and approve at your convenience.
Payment for Services.
Dining In accepts cash and checks, and payment for services is due at the booking of each cook date, along with the grocery deposit for ingredients and any fees for containers (as determined in the initial assessment).The grocery deposit will be balanced at each cook date.
